Cristiano Ronaldo recognised the quality and success of the work carried out for more than 15 years by Saúde Viable and fell in love with the project. Focusing on the mission of helping people anywhere in the world, Insparya was born, starting with a centre in Madrid and then branching out into several European countries. Our centres in the field of hair transplantation and hair health enjoy international prestige and use innovative treatments and exclusive technologies.

DR. CARLOS PORTINHA

CHIEF CLINICAL OFFICER OF GROUP INSPARYA

Chief Clinical Officer of Grupo Saúde Viável and Chief Clinical Officer of Grupo Insparya, Carlos Portinha graduated at the Medicine School of the University of Porto.

He specialized in General and Family Medicine. He is a member of the Portuguese Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery and he has specialized academic training in FUE Hair Transplant by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), of which he is a member, as well as by the EHRS – European Hair Research Society.

He is a principal investigator in the joint venture Saúde Viável/I3S for research on mother cells applied to hair loss.

DR. JAVIER PEDRAZ

MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF INSPARYA CLINIC MADRID

Dermatologist and aesthetic physician. He studied medicine in the University of Salamanca.

He specialist in Aesthetic Medicine accredited by the Official Medical Association of Madrid. He has completed his academic training in international centers, such as St John’s Institute of Dermatology and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London. Currently, he is devoted to aesthetic medicine and scalp pathologies, including treatments as hair transplant.

DR. CARLOS CABALLERO

MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF INSPARYA CLINIC MARBELLA

Carlos Caballero has a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Extremadura, and he is an expert in trichology and hair transplantation.

He completed his training at international centres such as the University of Mississippi, studying hair medicine and transplantation. His outstanding dedication to hair health is currently demonstrated by preventive treatments like platelet-rich plasma and mesotherapy, as well as definitive treatments like hair transplantation.

Dr. Caballero also belongs to the group’s research department, Insparya Science, under the leadership of Carlos Portinha, the group’s medical director. This work is carried out in collaboration with the University of Porto and the i3S Institute for Research.

DR. BASILISA MARTÍNEZ

MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF INSPARYA CLINIC VALENCIA

Basilisa Martínez has a degree in medicine from the University of Castilla La Mancha, and she is an expert in trichology and hair transplantation.

She completed her medical training in hair transplants and hair health care. She also has extensive experience as an intensive care unit (ICU) coordinator and as a manager for health projects in public and private hospitals. Currently, Dr. Basi Martínez is the medical director at Insparya Valencia, and she is on the team of medical directors for the Insparya Group clinics in Spain, along with Dr. Javier Pedraz and Dr. Carlos Caballero.

We have developed our own technology, which allows us to obtain reliable results with a natural and uniform appearance, without the scars or marks that are normally left by other hair transplant techniques.

We work beyond excellence, which is why we invest in scientific research and development like stem cell research, to complement and improve our technical capacity. We seek out alternative solutions for those who don’t have enough donor hair to restore their hair-free zone, a situation that affects and conditions health and self-esteem. Recent developments in regenerative medicine could be key to addressing the issue of insufficient availability of hair follicles with the necessary quality for transplantation

This is an innovative research project. The objective is to continue developing stem cell research that allows follicles to multiply and eliminate a problem that affects men and women around the world.
